No pictures yet, but we know for certain that Trinity
is currently developing electric and nitro touring platforms to be
dubbed the Reflex T and Reflex NT. Jim Dieter, Trinity's motor man,
accomplished designer, and skilled racer in his own right, is said
to be the primary architect of the project (you may remember Trinity
used the Reflex name for a Jim Dieter-designed dirt oval car back
in the day). It's rumored that ace driver Josh Cyrul will race a test
mule at the upcoming Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions. When we
get more information on the cars' details, we'll be sure to let you
know, but in the meantime Trinity has confirmed that the nitro-powered
Reflex will be the first to hit the shelves.

This news, I feel, will really make
waves because Trinity is one of the oldest and most respected car
builders in the hobby. They are known for their pan car chassis
for 1:12, Pro10 and oval but this seems like a natural transition
for the company. Jim Dieter is a real pro in the hobby and used
to be one of the top drivers for the old Trinity/Kyosho team that
used to dominate the off-road scene. Dieter used to run the Ultima
and won many National Level events. I'm sure the nitro version will
be competitive, but the electric Reflex is what everyone will want.
